The Inception<\/b><\/h3>\n

The foundation for this beautiful city was laid in the year 1591 by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah as a symbol of love for his beloved Bhagmati. <\/span><\/p>\n

Bhagmati was a Hindu courtesan with whom the young Sultan was deeply in love. His romance with Bhagmati aroused a lot of tittle-tattle and controversy. But as they say, \u2018<\/span>True Love Triumphs All<\/span><\/i>.\u2019 After ascending the throne, Quli Qutub Shah defied tradition and wedded Bhagmati and made her his queen. He lovingly called her Hyder Mahal and named the city Hyderabad in her honour.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many monuments were built during this era that showcases their architectural prowess, elegant taste and grandiose. Charminar – a four-pillared magnificence and Golconda Fort – a stone acropolis are at the top of the list. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Nizam Rule<\/b><\/h3>\n

Asaf Jahi Dynasty also called the family of the Nizams of Hyderabad is exalted in Hyderabad. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Nizams were ahead of their times in planning and infrastructure and paved a path to Modern Hyderabad. Great engineers were summoned from all around the country and appointed as advisors to the court of the Nizam. <\/span><\/p>\n

Back in 1917, when city planning was still in a nascent stage, Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar were constructed to provide the entire city with drinking water. A City Improvement Board was formed to minister construction of roads, markets, residences and shopping centres. <\/span><\/p>\n

The buildings of utility like the Legislative Assembly, the High Court, the Osmania University, the Secunderabad Railway Station that were bricked during this era are still a benchmark for planning, exquisite taste and architecture. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Chowmahalla Palace built by the Nizam was awarded the prestigious UNESCO Asia Pacific Merit Award. No number of adjectives can do justice to The Falaknuma Palace – a symbol of Nawabi extravaganza and luxury. <\/span><\/p>\n

Emergence Of A Hitech Hyderabad<\/b><\/h3>\n

Hyderabad is anointed with a flourishing geographical location – Deccan Plateau and has many lakes cutting through it which provides a clean flat canvas and attracts infrastructure and development. <\/span> <\/b><\/p>\n

As years passed, the foundation was laid to recreate Hyderabad into an IT hub by inaugurating Hitech City in November 1998. <\/span><\/p>\n

Today, Hyderabad is an epicentre for IT industry with IT parks like Mindspace, DLF Cyber City, T – Hub and attracted world-renowned corporates like Google, Deloitte, Facebook, Wells Fargo, Accenture and various other MNCs.<\/span><\/p>\n
